"During the process of deepening supply-side structural reform in the financial sector, the CBIRC kept improving the efficiency of financial resource allocation, strengthening credit support to key areas and weak links in the economy, and stepping up the efforts to serve the real economy," said Liu Zhiqing, deputy director-general of the statistics IT and risk surveillance department of the CBIRC, the country's top banking and insurance regulator.
"Even though we cannot meet each other, I can check their attendance, tutor their homework and monitor their examinations online," Yang said.
"Dunhuang only has a 160-kilometer regular railway connecting with other cities in Gansu so people can only get there now by ordinary train," said an official at the Lanzhou Railway Bureau's publicity office, who declined to be named.
"Deleveraging should continue, but in a more moderate way. The baseline is to ensure no further risk will rise amid economic stabilization," said Huang Yiping, deputy dean of the National School of Development at Peking University, who was a former central bank adviser.
"Everybody felt that going back to school in middle age was exciting and we cherished the study opportunities. We tried our best to learn the skills and knowledge," she said.
